About the Author

I have lived my entire life in rural Oklahoma, looking out across near-empty pasture land marked with trees here and there. Much of that time has been spent in school, learning the sorts of things that every kid's got to know, but I always had a bit of free time to stick my nose in a good book. Mostly fantasy, but throw in some scifi and a bit of horror, as well. Time passed and I eventually graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Even so, I always wanted to have some part in the creative arts. I tried my hand at everything from drawing to meager attempts at movie-making, but never figured I had the skill to actually make it anywhere.

Around the time I graduated, I'd been writing off and on for several years and even had a story that I'd been slowly putting together, though I'd never been particularly serious about it. When graduation finally came and it was my turn to head out into the world, I decided that I didn't just want some stable job somewhere, I wanted to build a career doing something that I absolutely enjoyed. Since then, I have turned my efforts to finding that elusive "good story" and then carefully crafting it into a good book. And so I keep writing.
