The book had all the information you could want on Holms. The diagrams, original newspaper photos, articals, and eye witness acounts (of wich this book is primarily) I found really informative. All in all it is a great book if you want the facts and not a work of fiction.

Mostly a bunch of old interviews from the 1890s with people who lived around the "murder castle," plus some pictures and diagrams. Wish it were longer, but it's a good addition to Holmes-lore. I had the original pdf version that they used to sell via the blog, which was laid out a bit better, but this one has more chapters.

While the topic of H. H. Holmes is quite intriguing, this "book" is in desperate need of an editor--much less just a proof reader. I was quite dissapointed by the extent of the errors which severely affected the readability.
