This is a really good story but the formatting needs to be improved. If the book were properly formatted, I would have given it 4 stars. The inside cover photo is upside down, the text varies from very small to "normal" on the pages, and there are some grammatical errors. It amazes me that authors do not take the time to proof read their releases or hire someone to do it. This is a really good book that is ruined by poor formatting.

Good story although I figured it out about quarter way through. Formatting needs to be addressed, almost gave up reading as it was very annoying with the print font style and size changing every few pages. I decided not to publish with Smashwords as I could not understand their formatting instructions - very confusing. I published using another company and all was well. I hope all of Bert's books don't have the same problem.

Got through the first 100 pages. I decided not to finish it. Too disturbing.

This book is over 400 pages. The editing and formating are only so- so. It is about murdered gay people and there is sexual content. If this type of thing bothers you, then you should skip this one, at times this book is pretty explicit with its adult themes. There graphic murders and violence, cursing and disturbing imagery. This book is not chick lit by any means. At times it made me nervous. Perhaps men would enjoy it more than I did. I could not even get my husband to try it, because of content. For adults only. I did not really care for this book and the gay aspect had nothing to do with it. The violence was hard for me to handle and I usually enjoy hard mystery books. AD

This story really needed an editor. Was a decent read but he could have made it harder to figure out who the killer was. I figured it out near the beginning. I kept reading hoping I was wrong. I wasn't. Also the author needs to more research before writing about specific groups. For example, the head of the white supremist group would not have been spanish. I caught some other ones too but can't remember at the moment.

An okay read. Obvious early on who the culprit is. My confusion is on page 342 is why wouldn't Joe have taken the cordless phone with him instead of asking Andy to click it off after he picked up the extension? Something to read on a rainy day when there is nothing better to do.

Yes, it talks about gay people. Get over it. I really did like the story but the biggest reason I did is because I am Seattle born and bred. I love finding books that are based around here :)

One of the worst books ever read. Not worth anybodys time.
