Fifty years young at the turn of the century, Marilyn Dalla Valle spends her time seeking and recording the beauty of the world on paper and film. For 29 years, she operated a portrait studio with her husband Roger in the city where they were born and raised, Torrington, Connecticut, USA. She formerly taught dance in her own academy.
Sailing the waters of the Northeast since 1985 inspired her to write a mystery series beginning with Murder in Mystic, followed by Murder in Newport. Her goal is to share her experiences by transporting the reader to another place and time where everyday burdens do not exist.
