Offbeat Character with good local color

The second Jesse Asheworth mystery continues with the same cast of colorful characters as the first, A MIDCOAST MURDER. In this second mystery, several new characters have been added to the cast.

This is a skillful combination of plot, characters, and local color, with a continuing motif centered around comfort food.

Set in the Maine coastal community of Bath, Maine, this book makes a good read for a rainy day.
