A great short story from one of the best romantic suspense authors. Always nice to see characters from previous stories in the Brennanverse pop up in supporting roles. Often in short stories\novellas the romance feels rushed, but these two had a history that made it believable.

If you like crime and long investigations, i reccomend thiis read to you. But it is at times hard to follow as the story jumps from one thing to another. Also uses language for i would say 14+ ages. I for one enjoyed this story but faded during some sections.

This was my first book by this author but it certainly won't be the last. It was very well written, and totally believable. Kept me reading way past the time i should have went to sleep. :)

Predictable at times, but interestingly written. Loved the close family dynamic. Got lost in all the financial and money laundering part. Nice love story.

Overview
