    Great Book!

This book was reccomended to me. Once I started reading, it was very difficult to put down. There was a tremendous amount of research done to write this book. The author did an incredible job describing the area and facts involved on this case. I am from the area this murder took place, so the locations were of a major interest to me. Even if you are not associated with the area, it is a very good book, that you will enjoy reading. I highly reccommmend this book. It wiil be one to add to your personal library. Thumbs up!

The devil is indeed in the details!

Richard Carson's Murder in the Thumb is a detailed account of a gruesome murder that took place in Caro, Michigan (just the next city over from me). The author took great pains to present all the facts; however, these could have been substantially trimmed. (I think some material should have been included in appendices.) However, there's no denying that this is one fascinating story, with unforgettable characters. That it is a true account makes it all the more spellbinding. If there had been some judicious editing, I would have given it a top score.
