The big day is finally here, or is it?  Trouble seems to lurk around every corner as Skye makes the final preparations for her wedding to Wally. From murder to old flames, Skye is confronted with her feelings and a few Bridezilla moments.  To top it all off May is uncharacteristically hands-off during last-minute wedding preparations, leaving Skye to wonder what surprises await her.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Murder of a Stacked Librarian and can't wait for number 17!

If this is you first Scumble River mystery I suggest starting with Murder of a Small-Town Honey, then working your way through the series so that you fully appreciate the twists and turns found in Murder of a Stacked Librarian.

The latest in the Scumble River series is the best one yet. I absolutely love this series. Skye and Wally finally make it to the alter after catching a killer. Many suspects keep you on your toes in this book! Dealing with a murderer, making wedding preparations, throw in a little Doziers for comic relief and you have Skye's life in a nutshell. I feel as though I know all the residents in Scumble River. I have been with them from the beginning and I am hooked. I highly recommend this series! Pamela Bodine

Murder Of A Stacked Librarian is the 16th book in the Scumble River Mystery series.

Scrumble River is getting ready for Skye and Wally wedding. But about a week before, the substitute librarian, Yvonne, is killed when her car goes on a bridge. Upon investigation is appears that she was run off the road and now Wally has a murder to investigate. She has mad a number of enemies by being a rather outspoken person, so it won't easy to for Skye and Wally to sort thru the suspects.

Skye has most everything in order as relates to the wedding, but she knows that she can count on her bridesmaids to make sure she hasn't forgotten anything.

Another enjoyable book Swanson, to go with the others.

Swanson once again provides the reader with a time frame as to when each book took place.

    Looking to book 17.

I have had the grand pleasure of reading 3 great books by Denise

I have had the grand pleasure of reading 3 great books by Denise Swanson. I just finished Murder of a Stacked Librarian the sixteenth book in the Scumble River Mystery series. Ms. Swanson has created yet another wonderful story that kept me completely entertained all the way through. She has created a town full of characters that are charming, funny, and interesting to read about.  This book contains some of my favorite elements, laughter, suspense, mystery, and some really touching scenes.

Skye has enough on her plate with the holidays and an upcoming wedding, now their have a murder to solve.  I love how Skye and Wally work together to solve cases. They really are a great team and you can really feel their connection together in their work. They both really want to solve the mystery of who killed the temporary librarian before they leave for their honeymoon. However the more they piece together they find more suspects to add to the list.

There are some really sweet touching scenes as Skye and Wally as they prepare to spend the rest of their lives together.  I'm not going to give away too much but as is normal with most weddings there are things that go wrong in the plans that have to be fixed. This adds a little extra drama to the story line  and laughter.

I have quickly became a huge fan of Ms. Swanson works. I would never hesitate to pick up any of her work. She has a great way of telling a murder mystery with some humor thrown in the mix. If you enjoy a really good mystery that includes that small town feel, I think you will enjoy Murder of a Stacked Librarian. I know I certainly had a very enjoyable experience reading this book.

I can not wait to see what may be next, I know I will be anxiously awaiting Ms. Swanson next release.

I was very thrilled to receive a copy of this book in order to share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my review with you.

Here comes the bride...but will the groom make it to the alter or will he say his I do's to the unsolved murder, preferring his latest lead over his bride to be? Will Skye find a replacement instead? Which one of the suspects truly has the heart of a killer? Murder of a Stacked Librarian is another great read in the Scumble River series by Denise Swanson. If you haven't discovered this series yet, pick up Murder of a Small Town Honey and set aside many wonderful hours of reading time and discover a first-class mystery series.

Wow, what a book. I enjoyed every part of it, even to the last words. I have read five books in The Scumble River series and plan on reading the others. This is the Sixteenth book in the series. If you love a good cozy mystery with some romance mixed in, you will love this book and the series. I think Mrs. Swanson has did a fantastic job on The Scumble River series. She brings her Characters alive. You feel like you are right there with them. You will even get to have the Dooziers back with you again in this book. This family will make you laugh till you cry. If Skye invites the Dooziers to her wedding will they ruin everything? Skye Denison is the school psychologist and is planning her holiday wedding to Wally Boyd, the police chief. Which is to take place right after Christmas. If her fiancé Wally can find the time in between a murder that happens in Scumble River a week before Christmas. The town's sexy temporary librarian Yvonne Osborn is murdered and the list of suspects keep piling up and even the town's Mayor becomes a suspect. Yvonne was disliked by a lot of people in Scumble River. She was strict and went by the rules. There was something that someone did not like about her to murder her. Skye is also having a few problems with her wedding arrangements .Skye is also the police departments psych consultant. She and Wally are working together to try and solve this murder before they leave on their honeymoon . I love the way Mrs. Swanson has Skye and Wally working together on this murder case. There are a lot of suspects and things with the Wedding arrangements that get in their way. Will they be able to solve Yvonne's murder on time so they can get married or will they have to be put on hold ? I loved this book and can"t wait for the next one .
