Music for the Spirit, Vol. 4

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Bradley Torreano
The fourth album in the Music for the Spirit series brings another compilation of quality world music via Domo Records. A change of values and movement towards spirituality in popular culture dictated the music found here, which moves from the haunting African chanting of "Witch Doctor" by Nigerian percussionist Suru to the soaring melodies of Japanese composer Kitaro's contributions. An excellent introduction to heavily spiritual world music, this compilation is a quality meditative effort from the popular new age label.
