Fox's teen drama series The O.C. has been a runaway hit, due in no small part to its hip writing, fetching cast, and edgy music. The latter component gets fuller exploration on this thoughtfully compiled soundtrack, which takes on the brainy, brooding tone of the smart-aleck geek character Seth (Adam Brody), who's been on both sides of a broken heart during the show's run.
