Taj Mahal's homage to his Caribbean roots

Sunday morning on St. Croix, and the locals headed to church in all their finery and brilliant colors, while the deep blue water glistens at the end of King's Alley. Rudy Costa's saxophone blowing like the soundtrack to your Caribbean dreams. Taj Mahal's smokey vocals evoking starlight on Christianstad bay, the breakers white on the reef far offshore.
Like the Caribbean sunshine, like a St. Thomas Habanero, this music will burn you down to your very soul.
