Mildred Bailey's weekly half-hour radio series of 1944-1945 which had 34 shows in all is long overdue to be released on CD. Two of the programs are on this enjoyable CD. Bailey is heard with Paul Baron's Orchestra, and among the musical guests are clarinetist Ernie Caceres featured on "Cherry", an all-star sextet pianist Teddy Wilson, trumpeter Charlie Shavers, vibraphonist Red Norvo, guitarist Remo Palmieri, bassist Billy Taylor, and drummer Specs Powell, trombonist Trummy Young who sings "I'm Living for Today", trumpeter Billy Butterfield showcased on Alec Wilder's "I'm Seeing Her Tonight", and pianist Hazel Scott featured on "Soon".
