In 2001 EMI Latin started a collection of rock en español compilations called Musicos Poetas y Locos, comprised of the label's major acts in that field with some of their greatest hits. This record opens with the heavy metal "Entre dos Tierras" by los Heroes del Silencio, followed by Mexican El Gran Silencio's "Tonta Canción de Amor." Chilean band los Prisioneros join with one of their best songs, "Tren Al Sur" from the album Corazones.
