Franklin has been summoned by the demon Charon to help destroy the Mystyx, a group of classmates including Krystal, with supernatural powers that can defeat Charon.
Franklin loves Krystal, but he faces an impossible choice: join Charon and be rewarded with powers beyond his dreams, or refuse and die....
A Mystyx series novella.
It was a good read, perfect for those moments in time when you don't really have anything to do. And newsflash, if you're going to leave a review on a book telling people not to read it, at least make sure you don't repeat things with the mindless monotony of a preschooler and don't use the spelling of a first grader.

Wow! Funny how those who seem to have hated the book can't spell worth crap and don't know proper grammar. I'm starting to think that maybe you just didn't understand the content.
This was a good read for young ADULTS and those who know the difference between "waist" and "waste". Go back to school and absorb all you can honey.

This book has a captivating plot. It is full of love, hate, revenge, and regret. Once you pick it up you won't be able to sleep until you finish it.

It was definitely slow at first, but I'm excited to see how the story will progress if there's a sequel!

I haven't read the book but from the reviews it looks like that type of book where you lean over to your husband and say "You get what you pay for" and he goes mmm...

I really enjoyed this book. It is more for the young adult adience. 38 pages. It has the point of view of the villian side more then the hero side. I am interested in reading the other 3 in the series.

It felt like this was an introduction to a series, but it really needs just a bit more. It was a quick read, which was very nice.

Even if this book was meant to be a teader, it failed miserably. A teaser should leave you wanting more, not upset that you wasted 20 minutes reading a book with no cohesiveness and no background. There were so many holes in this story I could have played golf on it. The book isn't even 38 pages, it's about 30 wuth the rest being the authors mini autobiography and copyright material, etc.

It is an interesting novella. I wish I could the books that revolve around it like Manifest and Mayhem. I don't know much about them, but would like to read them.

Not good at all! Hardly any plot with very little background and no intro so you have no idea what is going on half the time! Author switches narrorator without warning and is constantly switching from past and present tense! Worst book ever!

Come on, i mean really? This book has such an obvious turn out and is so short that you can't even call it a book. The beginning did NOT turn me on. It really did not make any sence. In the beginning of the book, it does not mention that kristen is his girlfriend. It just says that he thinks that she is hot. This book is completely pointless and you should not get it just because it is free. I should have known that it woud not be good because the summary of it pretty much gave away his decision. The author could not have put effort into this book because it is undeveloped and only about 30 pages long. This book does not even deserve a star. Who liked this book enough to publish it anyway? This was probably not even published.

This book seem great and all but I read one of the comments and it said that it was only 38 pages so there is no point to reading, don't get me wrong I think it sounds great buit really ins't worth it and all it would do is take up space in my liabary. P.S. I am not trying to be rude for all of the people who might think this post is rude.
