I always wanted to purchase a Mutts book. This is the first book, where Earl the dog and Mooch the cat first meet, and their many adventures they share. I highly recommended this book for anyone who loves animals.

How can you go wrong when you pick up anything by Patrick McDonnell! Mutts is truly a refreshing and whimsical change from some of the more hard pressed social commentaries that it shares the paper with. Let Earl & Mooch brighten your day with some of the zaniest antics any domesticated critter has ever been in..... Long live the Mashter of Laughter!!! YESH!!!

This is another one of Patrick Mcdonnell's great masterpieces. It is hillarious! It also has appeal to the animal loving audience. A good book to sit down and read for a good price.

I feel that this is one of the best cartoon characters that has ever existed. I wonder at the creativity of Patrick McDonnell. He manages to create such humorous situations with really simple ideas. I was rolling all over while going through the pages of this book. Anyone who enjoys the simple things of Life will enjoy Mutts. I like all the characters of Mutts. I love everything about Mutts. The forward by the late Charles M. Schulz says it all.

The Mutts comic strip combines wit and finess that mesh together to create a bust-a-gut, wacky, well thought out sort-of humor that you will never forget. The characters exemplify the persona of his or her breed-whether cat or dog. The way it harnesses the relation between the two friends and their owners is comitic genious. If there was any comic to go down as classic such as Peanuts, or Family Circus it would definatly be Mutts.
