I bought this book because my daughter is very interested in learning Spanish. It's very colorful and has some basic words in it, but it left her with even more questions! For instance, the color section shows an illustration of green peas for the color green (verde) but she asked "how do you say peas in Spanish?" So it's fun she is even more curious, but frustrating that the book didn't list how to say peas. One little book can't give you all the info of course, and now I know I should collect some more spanish materials for her to learn with. Overall, the book is cute and would be appropriate for very beginners.

I have been looking for a good book to help teach myself and my son spanish. This one is a good buy as it is sturdy, colorful and has a lot of everyday items that we use around the house.
