I bought this book initially because of a new relationship with a Parsi gentleman but soon found out that it is a great addition to both my cooking and my cultural libraries. The author presents a very informative short history of Parsis in general and her family in particular and follows this with easy to understand recipes, lots of instructional and informational pages, as well as a valuable food glossary at the end. This book has become a well-used part of my library even though it is one of my most recently purchased books.
