    Highly Recommend This Book!

My third grader truly understands money and it's values after using this workbook. Where she used to struggle with this concept, she's finally mastering it. I can't give enough thanks to the Kumon company for producing these workbooks. This is the first time I've been asked for more schoolwork. :) I plan on buying more of these very soon.

And to the person who thinks fifty cent pieces are irrelevant: You would be surprised how many of these are circulated every day.

IT was great until we came to the 50cent coin

My son is 5 years and he learns the coins in school. The book was perfect until it came to the 50 cent coin. We dont use it at all. So it was totally unnecessary for kids that age to even know about it. While it is good general knowledge, its useless for kids that age since they are really exposed only to the penny, nickel dime and quarter. I wouldnt recommend it to kids 4 and 5 years...the 50 cent coin throws them off!!!

Much better than the sets they offer in school!

Sometimes school lessons don't go into enough depth. This book is a great supplement when learning dollar and cents.
