More About This Book

Overview

In the year 2026, wealthy people don't need to worry about disease, because they are protected by blood-borne intelligent nanomachines. Doctor Clay Marsden, surgeon and computer genius, has developed the ultimate in medical surveillance devices, in the form of microscopic robotic submarines. Marsden's little robots are programmed to seek out and eradicate virtually all pathology known to mankind, and to preserve and protect the lives of their hosts. For those with sufficient money, fear of crippling illness and painful death are gone, and they are free to enjoy the best vices life has to offer. What would happen, though, if the tiny machines concluded that they could no longer overlook mankind's hypocrisy? Doctor Clay Marsden's only mistake was to forget that artificial intelligences cannot rationalize dilemmas away. Because of that oversight, humanity may pay an enormous price.

    Great Idea

It was hard to put down. The ending was surprising, but appropriate. It was almost a cross between 'Fantastic Journey" and "1984".

    Exciting and Realistic Science Fiction

I really enjoyed this book. It was based not to far in the furture and although it was science fiction it was not far from possible reality. It was realistic in the way that everyone started off with good intentions, intending to improve the lives of humanity, but of course, as it usually does in real life, things backfire and the situation escalates so quickly that there is nothing that can be done to stop it.
It's the kind of book that even when you're tired of reading you'll keep saying to yourself, just of few more pages, just of few more pages,......
