I have lost who I used to be, letting guilt and heartache define who I am, letting darkness control me. Only one woman has seen what no one else has seen in me: the man I do not wish to exist. His lack of control led to tragedy, and I cannot allow that to happen again. Once again Lisa has out done herself! Get to know Mark Compton a little more in this book. This is a short novella, but there is so much going on, it has you begging for more after you finish the final page. This book takes place right towards the end of No In Between and Mark is struggling with the fact that the police can't find Rebecca and he feels like this is all because of him, his relationship and what he did to both push Rebecca away and bring her back to him. If he had only known she came back….  One of the best quotes for the book, in my opinion….  "Crystals is slipping under my once iron-clad surface where I've let no one in for ten years. Except Rebecca." Although you do not find out what happened 10 years ago to make Mark into the man we have gotten to know in this series you start to see him in a different light. I have always been a Chris fan, but as I read more from Mark's POV, I feel like what he is hiding is big and he is not sure how to deal with it. We all know he capable of love as we have seen him with both of his parents and we have seen peaks of it with his relationship with Rebecca. In this book you get to see life in both Mark and Crystal's point of view. I love Crystal and am happy to see her back and see that she struggles with her relationship with Mark just as much as he does with her. Crystal is in San Francisco to help Mark with work as he continues to deal with finding out what really happened to Rebecca and all the issues with the gallery. As she helps him get things in control (yes funny as he is always in control right?) they become closer…. what will happen with their relationship? what about Rebecca? What about his mom? the gallery?  Ava and Ryan? and let us not forget Rico…. so many answers to be found in I belong To You. It was a quick read, but well worth the time. Getting to know Mark and Crystal a little more before I Belong To You. So much to look forward to in the next few month! Great job Lisa! Can't wait to see how things work out for everyone!

Buy Master Undone,. My Hunger and My control.  This is the Mark Compton series and it is excellent. My Control- Mark is spiraling into depression and guilt over Rebecca's death.  His only salvation is Crystal, he sees her as his life preserver  in his out of control life.  Excellent depiction of this downward trend toward drinking apathy because of guilt.  Where is the Dom that we all know and love? He is trying to find HIS CONTROL again. Mauaqui (me) recommends to buy buy buy

OMG, I was so excited when I got an ARC of this book, I just finished reading No In Between, when I received this one, I immediately started this book next. My Control is a novella written in Mark’s point of view. I would recommend that you read the other books in this series before reading this one; you really need to read them in order because they build off each book. Mark is losing his control, his mother is sick with cancer; he has lost Rebecca and is letting his guilt and heartache control him. He wants Crystal who works for his mother but she is so different from the other women he has been with. She won’t let him control her and she will not let him be the master of her. This book is short but it covers a lot in a short time which is typical Lisa Renee Jones, she always ends the books with us wanting A LOT MORE!! I can’t wait until the next book comes out, I REALLY want to know what happens next with these characters.  A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I love Mark and Crystal!!! I loved it!! Mark continues to struggle with the weight of the guilt he feels over everything. He has lost the control that is so ingrained in his character and he's spinning out of control. Crystal seems to be the only person who can reach him. I love how fearlessly Crystal throws herself into Mark's life, even when he's determined to push her away. Mark and Crystal are like magnets; no matter how much they believe they are wrong for each other, they can't seem to stay away from each other. They want and need each other on a level that is uncomfortable for both of them. I loved Mark's instincts to protect Crystal and his plans for her. I can't wait to see how she reacts! I love this series and I can't wait to read more! The Inside Out series is one that you really want to read in order so you don't miss anything important. *I received a complimentary copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

After reading My Hunger, I was finally able to warm to Mr. Compton so much more, and I was hoping he'd be able to lay his demons to rest. Unfortunately, the circumstances surrounding Rebecca's disappearance and death still plague him. Consumed my guilt, and hatred for those responsible, Mark's life seemed to be spiraling out of control, which was quite out of the ordinary for a man like him. The only thing that kept him grounded, other than his mother's illness, was Crystal. I loved getting to see things from her perspective, especially the situation with Mark. I also really loved that she cared so passionately for him but didn't give in to his demands. She gave herself to him on her terms, and, once again, I felt that this was what intrigued Mark to the point that he let down his walls from time to time. Even though this is a novella, it is filled with so much emotion and passion, and I absolutely loved the symbolic gestures that revealed more about Crystal and Mark's relationship than either was willing to admit to.  Mark finally realized the biggest mistake he made with Rebecca, or perhaps he knew it all along, and I have to wonder if he'll continue on the same destructive path with Crystal, or will he let her in completely - equally.  I'm excited for I Belong to You, with high hopes that Mr. Compton will allow himself to love again.

I love these novella's that gives us a little more background on the characters in the Inside Out series. After reading My Control, I find that I like Mark more but my heart breaks for him. I really am hoping he lets Crystal in and realizes that he doesn't have to be alone. I also hope we find out what broke him in the first place. I love where the story is going and I am anxious to find out more about the roles each individual played in what happened to Rebecca. The story was well written and was a fast read. It is one of those books where you are reading at stop lights because you have to know what happens. Can't wait for the next installment of this series. I definitely recommend this series.

'I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review' Crystal has had Mark tied in knots. He has not been the Master that he needs to be with her. He does not feel that he is himself unless he is Master. He feels he has to make her realize that. This is another great deeper look into Mark and Crystal. It makes you wonder about what is in Crystal's past. It also makes Mark just a little more human. A great addition to this series. I definitely recommend reading! 'Read and Reviewed by LSK Sweetheart Reviews'

This was a good book. But I'm more interested in what's happened to Saras friend.

My Control by Lisa Renee Jones is a little novella that peels the curtain back on Mark and explores the relationship between him and Crystal. The author hints at a heartbreaking past for Mark and there is a little something in Crystal’s past as well. We find out a little more about Rebecca’s disappearance and who may or may not be involved. This story leaves us uncertain that these two will survive, but something tells me that they probably will end up together in the end (LOL). This is a short read, but it keeps me interested. I can’t wait for the next book later this fall.

We see more into Mark's true self in this installment. I'm truly trying to like Crystal, my problem is I want Rebecca to be alive and come back. I have a theory about Rebecca, can't wait to see if I'm right.

I enjoyed reading.

In this Novella we get answers to some of the questions No In Between left us with. Not all, but some. We also get to see Mark unraveling even more, and there seems to only be one person through this that seems to really be helping him, and he's pushing her away. To me this is a must read novella, because it helps to answer a few things that have taken place throughout the series.

Title: MY CONTROL Series: Inside Out, #4.1 Category /Genre: Erotica, Romance Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: A – near perfect Received from: Simon & Schuster (in exchange for an honest review) This is the 13th book in the Inside Out series. It is a novella (short) from Mark’s point of view. They do need to be read in order. If you have not read the previous books – do not read this review! I would hate to spoil anything before you get here… Still with me? Okay . Mark is a Dominant. He is a Master. He is always in control… of his life, his businesses, and his relationships. Right now all of his control has been taken from him and he is spiraling – fast. Can he take back the reins and show Crystal the Master that he is? This was a quick read. I finished it in the time it took to have my nails done and eat lunch. I laughed out loud. I cringed. I held my breath. I was nodding yes in triumph and shaking my head no in fear. I’m sure my fellow patrons at the restaurant wanted to know what I was reading… or maybe they just thought I was insane. If you are reading this review, then you must have read the previous books in this series… you know you can’t stop now! I can’t stop!! Two months until I BELONG TO YOU. I’m putting it on my calendar right now.

I am still holding out hope that Rebecca is still alive, I know they are saying that they won't find her body because it's in the ocean. I like this Mark, we get to see the vulnerable side of him, one that's not in complete control of the situation. I do believe that Crystal is good for him, but what happens if Rebecca turns up, alive. I'm anxious for it to be over, but at the same time, I'm going to be sad. Lisa, I think you have done an awesome job in writing this series, I'm looking forward to the Starz I am still holding out hope that Rebecca is still alive, I know they are saying that they won't find her body because it's in the ocean. My Control by Lisa Renee Jones settled some of the curiosity I had about Mark. It was nice to see a story that showed us some of his inner demons and how his attraction for Crystal is totally messing with his mind. I have to say that this book will actually make you feel a little bit sorry for him. I find myself having such a great time reading this series. It seems that there is never a dull moment with the plotline and the characters start to feel like old friends. I cannot wait for the next book to come out so that we can read some more of Mark’s story. I give this book 4 stars. I keep going back and forth in my mind on if Rebecca is dead or if there is going to be a plot twist that finds her alive. That is what is so great about this series. You never know what is going to pop out there.

Wow, what insight into Mark and Crysral for that matter. This sort novella packs a powerful punch and leaves me reeling for more! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MARK AND CRYSTALS BOOK! On another note I loved visiting with Blake Walker boy I missed him. .. who is he? if you don't know he is from Lisa's other series tall dark and deadly I recommend you read that next, wow hot is not the word! I'm wondering so much now after this novella. .. will Crystal be in danger? What's Ava and did Ryan help her? What happened to the kid she was using? Will Ava target Ctystal since she means so much to Mark? Uggg the wait! If you haven't started the series yet I suggest you hurry up you have time to catch up!
