    Entertaining but low quality

At 210 pages it was a fairly short, fun read. I had a fine enough time reading it, but at the same time it was a pretty bad book. Quality wise it deserves one star but because it didn't bore me I give two.

The book starts with a three or four page long description of Kaylin talking about her own personality and appearance. I mean, seriously? I've never seen more telling-not-showing in my life. It should have started from the immediate action, when she met the two brothers, Andreus and Thanatos.

Firstly. Andreus? How is this pronounced? An-dray-us? If so, I think the spelling you're thinking of is Andreas, honey. Is it An-dray-oos? That's the only pronunciation I can imagine for him. I figure this is a classical Greek name, but Giagdjogloo is a Greek name as well, doesn't mean you should name your character it. Thanatos's surname was Angelos. Thanatos Angelos. Worst combination of names I've ever heard.

The first conversation Kaylin ever has with Tos is an intimate discussion of her oral sex habits. Seems a wee bit forward. She spends the whole book in an internal monologue that she's not a slut, yet... I mean, she is. Other than her UBER sluttiness she's fairly nice, I guess. Not a strong voice or personality, just average Jane over here. Nothing uber attractive except apparently her appearance makes demons have boners with just a whiff of her unnaturally seductive locks. I don't even know.

So for whatever reason Thanatos falls in love with her after three days. In the end (SPOILER) she signs her soul to him, the demon version of marriage. BUT FOR ETERNITY. SHE KNEW HIM FOR THREE DAYS. I JUST-- I DON'T EVEN. ETERNITY? This girl is a few screws short of intelligent. (/SPOILER) Hence her sluttiness.

But they seem to like each other enough. They have sex like seven times; half of this 210 page book is them shagging. It's not overly erotic. Doesn't name any of the parts or go into deep description. PG-13, I'd rate it.

My other big problem was Andreus. He was in a total of two scenes, the first of which he hurled Thanatos in front of a speeding car and stalked and threatened to injure Kaylin in a book store. Quote from Tos, "He dislikes you. Then again, he dislikes everyone."

YET, in the second scene he's in, he is a perfect gentleman and immediately goes all mooney over Kaylin's BFF. Not exactly fluid characterization.

Grotewohl's writing is clunky and unremarkable with NUMEROUS grammatical mistakes that made me cringe.

However, I didn't expect much from a free book, an honestly, it was a very simple, straightforward, fluff-filled, plot-free book. A good distraction, good airport fair. She wasn't a terrible author, I've seen worse in these free books.

VERDICT: I finished it, but it had its share of sins.

    Great quick read!!

First few pages were hard to get thru due to kaylin going on and on about herself, but a great story and fast paced. Enjoyed this story very much had good humor and enough realistic bickering between the main characters to be believable. Great writing looking forward to more from the author

    Dissappointing

Okay first of all the female in this story was about as interesting as road kill. After a few pages I could care less about her--in fact she bored me. So, I decided to skim in the hopes that the story would pick up. It didn't. In fact I disliked her more and more and the Adonis twins had all the personality of a limp noodle. Her entire treatise on vampires was so ridiculous I wanted to laugh but really the story wasn't even good enough to be funny. Then the story meandered for pages and pages and frankly I think it was generous of me to give it one star. This was a complete and utter waste of my time.

    Great

This was a great book! I love how the author wrote and how their fights never got so bad I wanted to cry in frustration. The only thing I would change is so they don't say I love you so fast. Other than that I love it. Not that many good cheep books on nook anymore but this book and many of the other stories the author wrote are great and cheep.

I received this book for Free and it was so very worth it. I loved the characters and the swift pace romance. It was exactly what I was looking for. The story is short and it is an extremely fast romance, but one I highly recommend.

Oh come on, this book stank! Plot was predictable, writing was VERY simplistic, I have to agree with another reviewer who said she would go out of her way NOT to read anything by this author again.
