Nine blocks to make up a quilt and seven other projects are all done in applique with wool and cotton fabric and embellishments. The center of the quilt is a Tree of Life. All the projects say “quilt” but with the sizes given – 24” square, 22” square and 18” x 41”, --- I don’t think of them as quilts but table runners, wall hangings or pillows. There is even a purse project. A nine page basics section provides information on how to work with wool, how to applique and embroidery tips. The patterns for the nine quilt blocks follow. Each begins Each pattern has a blurb about it and continues with a cutting and fabric list. The only graphics in the written instructions section is the template which needs to be enlarged. The projects have the same information as the nine blocks and its only graphics are the exploded assembly one. I don’t like working with wool but I could substitute felt wool for this. My daughter-in-law loves Tree of Life so I will make that block and do a wall hanging for her. The purse pattern will be nice for my granddaughters for Christmas. There are lots of possibilities with these blocks/projects. Go get an enlarged template or two and have fun with all the things you can make.
