My Enemy...My Brother by Hanna Shahin - Highly recommended read!

    An eye-opening, thought provoking book!

It was over too soon. I don't read non-fiction very much because I love getting lost in a story and the imagery in reading fiction, but My Enemy...My Brother reads like fiction--there's plenty of story, plenty of imagery. And the fact that it's autobiographical makes it all the more compelling. It's well-written and the author did a great job in getting us into the moment, experiencing what he lived through.

I highly recommend this book, and sharing it with your church staff. It really moves us to think outside of the perceptions and labels we so easily fall into and use--those wall-builders between us and someone Christ wants to reach through us.
