Couldn't put this down! Glanced at a few pages while I was already reading another book and didn't stop till I finished. Enjoyed the story while learning history . The book covered in depth parts of 20th century history that is not covered in the broad strokes of a text book. the book covers such a variety of historical times, from orphanages to the privileged in Hollywood and I felt like I had a front row seat in all of them. At first the length of the book seemed overwhelming, but the book turned out to be a quick read. I hight recommend this book.
