I read this book with my 4 year old nephew and as we got into the first 2 pages, I literally watched him fall into a cacoon like state, curled up with the book. He's a little Batman fan, and what was great about the text was that it hit the basic plot-line in a way that made him feel excited and empowered that he was right there with the story, helping to call the shots! The touch and feel elements were great - the mirror, the little zip-line, etc really helped make the book interactive for us and added another imaginative layer of conversation for the two of us. I love it -and also love the Suerpman and Wonder Woman books. These are great!

    You must check this out

Bought this for 2 different people. One is an advid Batman collector and the other is her 3 yr. old with down syndrome. The 3 year old just loves any book with the touch and feel to them a beleive me after reading to her the story twice she can read most back to you. This little girl must have 300 books and I would say 1/3 are the touch and feel board books she loves them all.
