About the Author

Mrs. Jennifer Suzara-Cheng is a Filipino-American grandmother, author, science ducator and recipient of multiple awards on environmental advocacy. It is the author's goal to plant a seed in the minds of the future generations, and make a connection between the children's place of birth and the land of their ancestors using language as a springboard. At the same time, she also wants to open their young eyes to nature by providing pictures instead of cartoonish depictions of living organisms. By doing so, the author sincerely hopes to help awaken in the hearts of new generations of Global Filipinos, love for the PHILIPPINES and the ENVIRONMENT.
