Love the Kumon collection of workbooks! They are a perfect addition for home-preschoolers or if you're trying to have learning time at home. My 2 1/2 year old loves the book and we find it to be a good addition to his alphabet training as this helps him learn to guide a pencil/crayon. Highly recommended.

My 3.5yr old son LOVED this book. He got to the point where he would take it out and start working on it by himself. He was able to follow the directions and complete each page as intended, after doing just a few pages with me. It has helped him learn to hold a pencil correctly and write. It's the perfect start for learning to form letters. He was SO HAPPY when he finished this book and got his certificate at the end. He has moved on to the Coloring 2-3-4 book and is almost finished with that one. Moving on to Mazes or Cutting next.

My 2 1/2 year old twins love this book, but only because they get to scribble all over the pages. Without A LOT of assistance, they really don't get the lessons. I only take it out every few weeks because it's just still a bit too much for them. I gave it 3 stars because of it. If they were older and could do the lessons, I probably would have given it a higher rating

my 3 year old is not attending preschool. At age 3 most of his friends started attending educational places like preschool. There where i started home-preschooling him. I baught all the books from level 1 (which are age 2+) and we did 8 books + this book. Each day i cut 1 page from each books adn thats how we did our school time. From all of his school work he would ask me to do Tracing page first. We are on page 30 and he loves it! He cant wait for school time with these books :)

My son has been somewhat behind in his fine motor skills. He has not shown an interest in coloring, holding a pencil, etc. I purchased this book on a whim. One evening, my husband and I sat down with our son and he began using a crayon to trace the pictures. We praised him after each page he completed. He was hooked! He wanted to do the entire book in one sitting, but we held him back and let him only do a few each night. Now, he is holding a pencil the proper way and still enjoying the book! It's like magic!

My 3 year old son isn't much for coloring so I was worried that he isn't building the motor skills needed for writing later on. But he loves this tracing book and is always happy to trace from one fun image to the next.

I bought 3 of these books for my 2 year old and 4 year old twins, and at first I thought they were 'too easy' because my kids flew through them. But they aren't too easy - they just created excitement for learning to control their writing, and they didn't want to stop! My 2 year old kept up as well as my 4 year olds. I just bought the uppercase letters books, and I am sure they will enjoy those too.

My son loves this book. He has fun following the lines and making up stories for the pictures. A great book for some educational quality time.
