Studies all over the world show that language skills are established early in life, given the amazing learning abilities young children have. Later on, as we all know, it’s so much harder!

NOTE: If you can't hear the words, please 1. Tap on any picture 2. quickly press the volume up key on the side of your NOOK 3. You should see a "MEDIA VOLUME" indicator bar. If you see a "notification volume" bar then try again.

In this app your little one will find:

- Spanish words for common objects easily applied in everyday life activities

Suggestion on how to use this app: Help your child identify and match the objects with ones you may have at your house. Encourage them to say them out loud, and later on, try to include Spanish words into their daily routine a few words at a time.

    Love it!

    My 3 year old daughter and I like to look through this book together. It's taught me a few basic words. She is in a Spanish Immersion program so it helps to reinforce what she is learning at school. I like that it says the word when you tap on the screen so we can practice the accent.

    Noooooo

    Dont use this one use spanish for dumies it tests u on things u learn and pronounces the words to u and how to use it in a sentence and it comes with a dictionary that tells u what the word means

    Waste not waist. Waist is like a body part. Maybe you should buy an app for english before you try spanish.

    It worked for me.

    Very simple images and sounds that are to the point. Good for learning a few nouns in spanish. I wish you could randomize the order.

    It doesn't show up in the nook tablet store. So I can't use it on both devices.

    JUNK

    Not enough words. It's junk. Does'nt include phrases. Waste of money and space. SUCKISH PIECE OF JUNK! Wouldn't give this crap any stars but i have to at least give it one. I would write this in spanish but i don't know any and this app does nothing to help change that. Oh, perro. LOL

    Sound too soft

    I have it turned up all the way and can still barely hear it. Not happy with that. Maybe headphones would help.

    Not great, not terrible

    Would be better if the words were categorized somehow - they are always in the same order and start with the same image. Being able to go "backwards" helps but not every kid is going to have the patience to get all the way through. There are images on the title screen, make them do something!

    Very nice

    I'm from PR and yes some words are not said as we'd say them at home, but that did not bother me. Words are said correctly. 1 yr old loved it. Highly recommend.

    Great!

    I just bought this and went through them all. They work great! Animals, body parts, things around the house, foods, and more! The sound is easy to understand and the pictures are clear. Based on some earlier reviews, I just hope the sound stays constant after some use.
