More About This Book

Overview

This book was a best seller when it appeared in hard cover. Over one hundred newspapers and magazines from around the world purchased a six part series excerpted from My Life with Bing.

My First Years with Bing covers the first twelve years beginning in 1953.

Kathryn writes: "There were two of us who new Bing as a husband. One was Dixie Lee Crosby-nee Wilma Wyatt. The other was Kathryn Grant Crosby-nee Olive Kathryn Grandstaff."

"Dixie died November 1, 1952. I met Bing in 1953 and we were married in 1957. But there are big questions now as there were then. Why did he want to marry again? Why would he want to marry me? Wasn't I too young? Or might I have been just the right age? Dixie was 19 when they married. I was 19 when we met."

This coffee table book features 247 superb black & white photographs of friends, family and famous people all from Bing Crosby's photo albums. The color photographs on the front and back covers are favorites of Kathryn Crosby.

Thank you Kathryn...A Champion to End Pain!

I read this book because I wanted to learn the real story about her becoming a nurse. The book is an inspiration for all of us...A nurse, accomplished performer, movie star, mother, artist and activist! We are proud to have Kathryn as National Spokesperson for the Association fighting the most painful condition known to mankind...for more information about her efforts to help others go to endthepain.org Michael Pasternak,Ph.D. TNA President
