Overview

Seventeen-year-old Stephanie Cooper just told her best friend that she's pregnant. How does Stephanie tell her parents and the teenage father? What does she do next? The future suddenly becomes complex and confusing.

Do you know a girl like Stephanie? What can you say or do to help? What does she need most right now? Perhaps more than any time in her life she needs a "911 friend"--a friend who…is always loyal and a brother [and sister who] is born to help in time of need" (Prov. 17:17).

Through the aid of a gripping true-to-life story, Josh McDowell along with Ed Stewart offers biblical insights and practical instruction on how a single girl faced with an unplanned pregnancy can navigate through her difficult choices. But more importantly, you will learn how to become a true source of comfort, encouragement, and support to her. This book is designed for you to read first and then give to your friend.

And if you are that young person struggling with an unplanned pregnancy, you will learn what to expect in the weeks and months to follow. But more than that, you will discover how to experience the comfort, encouragement and support you need from both God and a friend-most likely the friend who gave you this book.

    GUY'S IT'S A SERIOUS PROBLEM

Look people it sucks knowing that a girl gets raped but they have too know that they know have something living inside them and they cant do the things they used too. When I went too my friends 16 birthday party she had guys there and they were drinking and you know what when they are drinking they ar more likely too try too rape then when they are sober. I can account for that I was raped at that party and i was pregnant and it was no funn being in ROTC i had too were a uniform every wensday and sooner ar later that uniform was going too stop fight me and my growing belly. I also had to phisical training on friday and i couldnt do that either. But i made a mistake of trying too because i didnt want anyone too know and that ment my teacher. But my boyfriend was there he knew because he was the only one that i told and he told someone that i trusted very much and she came and told my teacher he was very upset with me. I had too sit out for three weeks and not able too do anything. On uniform days my teacher whould hury up and get my inspection over with. It was starting too become a lot more noticable then it should have been. But i had too relize that i was three months pregnant and i couldnt be doing the things that i realy enjoyed doing anymore. I was a runner i loved too do that but being pregnant was keeping me back. Some where in my fourth month of being pregnant i lost the baby it was a baby boy and his name was going too be Mason Alexander Lee Baker and the last name was because i was letting my friend adopt him and their last name is baker they were about too start the adoption when i called up the adoption agency and asked them too contact the Adoptive parents(their names wont be mentioned due too the fact they are expecting a baby any day now) when i told them that i lost the baby they or she was so mad and upset i had a miscarrige. I was soo hurt that i lost my baby boy. And too make it worse they were going too decide if it was going too be a open or closed adoption. It was my child i was supposed tol be having that baby and i shouldbe had rights too go by and see him but they decided that my actions wernt good enough too be around their son when the adoption hadnt taken place and i hadnt even had him yet. But me and my friend who is a boy are talkin about starring a family and having kids. This is a story that not many girls have too go through but the ones that do will never forget it and i know that for a fact. I was also raped from the time i was born to the time i was three then i was adopted so my life as been the best it can be. The rape at the party occured when i was a sophemore i have since finished my sophemore year and will be a junior in high school. This is something that wont stop because not enough people arnt taking action too stop it.
