Meet the Author

Angeline was born in International Falls, Minnesota, the second of six children. As a child, her family moved frequently around the country allowing her to experience the customs of many different regions.
After earning a degree in the U.S. History from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Angeline decided to go where the oldest history in the US was and moved to Yorktown, Virginia, where she worked as a historical interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg.
It was there that she also met her husband who was in the Navy and stationed at Norfolk. Angeline has two children as well as two stepsons. Once they were older and more self-sufficient, Angeline seized the opportunity to take up her first love and continued to work on the romances she had begun in college.
Angeline is a life-long lover of history and romances. Her first books began the saga of the MacKintosh clan in her Questions for a Highlander series and she also writes in the genres of time travel romance, contemporary romance and YA fiction.

I really liked this time travel romance. It was quite believable and I liked the "oh no" moment near the end and I was quite surprised at the story twist. Well done again Ageline :)

I like Angeline Fortin's stories. She writes just outside the normal style and keeps me interested.

The story started off as interesting, but started to ramble into the ridiculous when Daphne showed up. Skimmed the story after that.

Ms Fortin described Castle Cuilean so well that I must now visit Castle Culzean in order to satisfy my curiosity. Her story was riveting.

This was a wonderful novel by a very talented author. I've read most of her books, and I think this is one of her best. A very clever take on time travel, and I just adored Ian. Lots of surprises and a very emotional story line. Definitely one I'll be reading over and over again.

A nice twist over the typical time travel. I found this scenario more believable. I havent found a tale that made me cry for love lost as this one did. Now if only i could find my Ian!

Fantastic loved the story line twist, but was not thrilled with the last few pages!

I liked this book. It does seem confusing in one part of the story but if you just stick with the story the storyline does work out the confusion. This story kept me wondering what was going to happen next. It is a time travel romance with suspense andtwists. Worth reading and just a personal note...for those that thought the "quick" romance with the main characters was too unbelievable, I thought the author did a wonderful job explaining it. I met and married within 3 weeks of my husband and we just celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary. Sometimes you just know when you have found your place in the universe.

Angeline Fortin is an obvious writing talent. She creates characters with depth that I care about and has the imagination to create a story that keeps me reading. This is a beautiful love story, and even though it has quite a bit of hot, steamy sex, this is no fling--the two love each other deeply.  I only have a few complaints. The first is that their relationship moves at an incredible pace. I'm not sure that's necessary--every day in a story doesn't necessarily have to come on the heels of the last day. And yes, romance is always accelerated in books, but this one seemed faster than most. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but my second complaint has to do with Mikah running away rather than toward (or just sitting in shock). What happened seemed out of character to me. Having said that, I still enjoyed the book immensely, and even though I don't think it was quite up to Nothing But Time, it will still be on my favorites list.

This story starts out interestingly with a bit of an unusual twist, but, without being a spoiler, it drops out all of a sudden only to reappear much further into the story than one would expect. I believe it ends well, but it left me scratching my head about the plot development thinking the author forgot about the twist altogether. My only other real complaint about all of this author's books is the editing. They are exceptionally poorly done. It appears that someone has edited them that does not possess English as their first language, or at a minimum has poor English skills. If you can look past typos and some blatantly wrong words you will likely enjoy her books, but if not, save yourself the aggravation and find another author.
