First, I will say that this book had a good premise (one star) and it started out promising (one star) but it fizzled badly.

There was no chemistry between the main characters. There were only 3 scenes with them the whole "book" and one of them was them having sex. There was no back story and no reason for them to be together. Frankly, he spent more time during the story with other women- having sex with them.

I use the term "book" lightly because this was a ridiculously short story. I would not have paid this much if I had realized how short it was. There was no time to have the story fleshed out. First Logqan gets powers and then bam! The story is over. There was little evolvement of his getting used to the powers or finding out about them before the story is over. Another character and some ideas are briefly introdued and then dropped.

The IR part of this book was non-existent. The fact that the main female character was black was mentioned briefly and then that was all. It was really irrelevant.

This book was a huge, expensive disappointment. My high hopes were dashed. Wish I could get my money back.

    Okay. Cute.

The story was good, but the book was too short. I finished reading wanting a lot more.
