My Island Beach: III. Equinoxes
My Island Beach: III. Equinoxes is the third and final manuscript in the My Island Beach series. Like the previous two manuscripts, it was discovered in the fireplace of the shore house mentioned in the first manuscript. Strangely, the author of this installment is an actual character mentioned in the second manuscript of the series named Jasmine Dufresne.

After more than 20 years Katy Brace (now Katy Senitt) returns to Island Beach to consider what to do with her life now that she's widowed. She is reunited with many of the characters from her last visit to the island nearly two decades ago, including her best friend Samantha, her first love Daniel and a host of memories of her Grandfather Phillip and his wife Evelyn, now gone. Katy is also forced to deal with her dysfunctional family, including her angst-ridden son and inscrutable father.

But the main thrust of this last episode of the story is how Katy wrestles with the ghosts and unfinished business she left behind the summer before her first year in college. Katy departed that summer with an ancient relic that turned out to be a diary and much more...an inheritance from another Katy, her grandmother, and many, many generations of strong women including a child named Caitlin born on a small Caribbean Island.
