Overview

Beth learns about being a vampire from her brother Janick. She learns about being a female version of a vampire from reading a book. The book is written by her Mother using a pen name. It is a diary series of letters of how her Mother learned about being a vampire. Her diary also details finding love and acceptance from a male vampire something she wanted in the first place. That despite not getting the acceptance she wanted from people.

This is a paranormal romance in fiction terms and not a memoir.
