I already knew the diabetic health classes I took were full of baloney and was reducing my carb intake, but quite slowly. Now I see that reducing carbs is really necessary. I also appreciate the simple way of determining the amount of protein necessary. And of fiber and why it is important. This free book is worth so much more than the awful diabetes nutrition classes (4 three hour time wasters!) I took about one year ago. Thank you Mr. Urias.

If you are interested in a low carb lifestyle and don't know where to begin, this is a great book to start witn.

I expected a cook book. This is more like a jounal with some nutritional info. I'm glad it was free, I would have been very disappointed if i'd spent money on it.

This book is written in simple, easy to understand style. I love the way, information is presented in a no nonsense fashion. The subject matter is to the point and i tookaway alot of useful information.

Feel free to skip this book. The author spends a lot of time giving condensed version of the Atkins Diet that you might as well get that instead. I have seen the Atkins Diet book and it is a whole lot more complicated than Mr. Urias implies. Also, a high protein diet can be hazardous if you also have hypertension.

I wanted to get familiar with the whole low carb diet thing. This was somewhat helpful, in that I now know everything this man put in his mouth for days on end. I would not classify it as a cook book (no recipes to speak of) and I guess I was aiming too high for the shopping list. I was expecting a list I could take to the store. It did help show me what the day to day life on a low carb diet is like so I guess it did it's job.

The author took time to deliver facts from his personal journey with low-carb dieting which meant so much. It helps to take the information and facts in from a dieters view. His research was very detailed, well written and understandable for anyone wanting to know real facts. This Journal/Thesis/shopping list/jump start guide is an 80 page MUST HAVE. Steven M. Boles

I read this book and it just made sense. I haven't even tried hard to lose because when I read the book was in December with goodies everywhere. However, after only a few weeks I've lost 10 pounds without even trying hard. This book explains in easy to understand language how and why this plan works.

A low carb diet can be dangerous for people that have high blood pressure. You should consult your doctor before starting any diet, especialy if you habe pre-existing health problems.

If you have ever considered one of the low carb diets this book may help you decide. A short, sincere testamonial of one man's experiences with low carb dieting along with his menus are included in this book. Yes, the book could use some editing, but it isn't unreadable. Useful.

This "book" if you can call it that, ws a total waste of money! Nothing you couldn't find on the internet. The "cookbook"....what a joke....do you know how to scramble an egg? Do you know how to fry an egg? It should be titled "5 Ways to Eggs" and "Oh, make a salad" The ONLY plus of the book was his testimonial of how the Low Carb diet has helped with his heart problems...his heart is healthier!!

I enjoyed this book because of how in depth it was. I liked how the author presented his life journey with eating a low carb diet. It was refreshing to read a book that didn't try to hide facts for the purposes of sales or publicity. It was down to earth and very easy to understand. I learned from it.
