    Great Book

    I try and write a revew every time I read a book to let
    people know if it is a good read or not for me. I always read others revews and if I see alot of bad reviews I pass up the book. This book was free book so of course you take your chances but it was over 700 pages long which that is a huge plus for me. I thought it was a good romantic story along with
    a good story line. Well worth downloading if you like romantic books.

    A Modern Screwball Romantic Comedy

    My Man Pendleton is the first Elizabeth Bevarly novel I've read, but it won't be the last! This book has all the right elements: a *sexy* leading man, a wacky heroine, an unusual situation, and *lots* of comedy! It's a definite must read!

    Wonderful romance with a little more story

    This is a great read if you are in the mood for a book that makes you feel giddy and romantic.

    Some cons are that there are parts where it feels like the author went back with a Thesaurus and picked the fanciest words. It makes some of the dialogue unnatural. There is also a theme of masculinity (specifically sterotypical "manlyness") that is off putting because it rarely flows with whats going on.

    Overall i would suggest this book to anyone who likes romantic books with a little more story. The romance between the characters is great. There is also an interesting story arc for the characters that gets a little dark and gives the story some depth.

    I really enjoyed this book. Very well written. It has love, sex, humor and great banter between Pendleton and Kit.

    Not my taste, but some will like it

    Well written romance, if extremely predictable. Very, very long explicit sex scenes and a lot of emphasis on a stereotypical type of "manliness," neither of which I enjoyed. It would have been nice to read some plot twists I couldn't predict, but this isn't that sort of book. There was some humor, which helped lighten the atmosphere at times. I'm sure some readers will like this book a lot, even though I didn't.

    This was a straight romance. As a general book I give it a 3 because there was a lack of any other aspect other than romance to the book, however as just a plain romance I give it a 4. The characters were fun and had some complexity to them but I really would have liked a little more depth to the story.

    Funny

    This book, with over 700 pages, was a great read! I laughed out loud several times, it was that funny at times. Very well written...cant believe it was free!
