Prologue Excerpt

My eyes sought the girl. She looked broken; golden-brown hair splayed around her still face like a torn halo. She wasnt, though. She was strong, surprisingly so. Her name was Ryan. Odd name. A mans name. Yet, I liked it.
I liked the way she laughed, freely yet with a hint of yearning. The way the light caressed her profile when she stared off into space, almost as if she could sense me in the shadows.
For weeks, I watched her. I shouldnt have.
Then why did I linger? Why did just looking at her make me want to forget every purpose and every vow? Why did I feel as if I waited more than a thousand years for a chance to know her?

Book Excerpt

I noticed him right away. No, it wasnt his lean, rugged face. Or the dark waves of shiny hair that hung just a little too long on his forehead. It wasnt the slim, collarless biker jacket he wore, hugging trim shoulders. It was the way he stood. The confident way he waited in the cafeteria line to get a slice of pizza. He didnt saunter. He didnt amble. He stood at the center, and let the other people buzz around him. His stance was straight and sure.
He could have ruled the world.

Editorial Reviews

Always YA at Heart - Ellen G.
Priya Ardis did an excellent job of ending this series, which is so important in my opinion. The modern day feel of this classic story set in a YA background was so entertaining, and though intense, there was enough humor to keep you from feeling overwhelmed. (Always YA at Heart Blog Review of Ever My Merlin, Book 3, My Merlin Series)
Queen of Teen Fiction Blog - Katie B.
Matt/Merlin is really sweet and I loved his character but Ive got to say, I seriously ADORE Vane! I wanted so much to dislike him but its actually impossible. (Queen of Teen Fiction Blog Review of My Boyfriend Merlin, Book1, My Merlin Series)
Mother, Gamer, Writer - Heather C.
I felt powerful emotions as I read Ever My Merlin. Part of it was knowing that the story was winding down, and when we fall in love with characters, it is like saying goodbye to a close friend. (Mother, Gamer, Writer Blog Review of Ever My Merlin, Book 3, My Merlin Series)

The My Merlin series is filled with adventure, intertwined with a juicy romance. The author offers a new take on the Arthurian sword-in-the-stone mythology made richer as Greek and Indian mythologies are weaved into the story. The characters make these books addictive--the swoon-worthy bad bad boy, the brooding yet ever-pure brother and the kick-butt heroine all offer different points of view and draw us in. A full series with an exciting race to save the world.

The My Merlin series is an awesome read for those who like legends retold, spunky heroines, and a good romance. It's a fast-paced read, and I wasn't bored for a second. I love books that travel the world over, and here I got to read about Boston, London, Greece, India, and Sri Lanka. But the characters made this series truly memorable. Ryan is the type who never gives up, and even when she's being a bit rash she always has the best intentions. She's caught between two wizard brothers who are both trying to save the world--with vastly different ideas on how to do so. And yet I felt like I understood them both. Totally epic series.

This series was so good. I couldn't put it down and i felt sad when it ended. I especially loved the romance. It kept me guessing. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes an adventure that combines history, legends and romance.

It's a new twist on the Merlin experience, which I'm a huge fan of. I enjoyed the concept, the characters and the satisfying conclusion. If you're a Merlin fan and love "outside the box" experiences, you'll love this series.

Such an enthralling trilogy! From the first page to the last Ardis keeps you on the edge of your seat with her writing. The characters (Ryan, Vane, Matt and many more) for a YA series are well developed and true to their voice for all 3 books. With a female heroine and descriptively attractive supporting male roles these books will take you into the magical place filled with mystery, adventure, love triangles, and magic. If you love Greek mythology, Arthurian legend, and apocalyptic thrillers these are the books for you. Happy reading

I really liked the first book in the series. The second book was ok. And the last book was hard to read. No one in the last book was likable.

Read one and two. Vane is so thoroughly unlikable, as well as a murderer, that he makes the heroine seem too stupid to be tolerated. Pity, but skipping the third book and wish I had missed the first two.
