Short story is correct, according to my NOOK 42 pages¿and it jus

Short story is correct, according to my NOOK 42 pages…and it just wasn’t that interesting. There just wasn’t much to it. I’m sorry, but I don’t even know what to say. It makes me question if short stories are even worth reading. I’m not trying to be mean, but I do wonder. In my humble opinion, 42 pages just isn’t enough time to establish that “pull” from an author to a reader.
A girl who pines over her first lover for 20 yrs… Does she give into her lust for him? The best line was,
“I will do anything for you, Rose. You wanted me to be your first. I want you to be my last.”
In my opinion Lacey, you can give us more. I can see the potential in this story…but it’s like you cut the legs out from underneath it. It’s not that I didn’t like it…it’s that the frustration is huge, when an avid reader can plainly see the avenues that could’ve taken a book like this one, and turned it into a full blown fabulous story…if only the author had taken that chance. Traveled down that avenue. Give us more…
    FYI: For mature readers only.
