This book is a must-read for soon-to-be parents, new parents and parents of children of all ages. My kids are 10 and 13 and just as I was feeling I had a handle on things, it all changed - schedules, needs, life - and I was desperate for a solution. My Parent Plan was my answer! It is easy to read (I read it in 2 sittings!) and easy to understand and it helped make my own personal Parent Plan easy to develop and easy to implement. It set off a light bulb for me and I feel like I can breath again

My son had a copy so I read it while I was babysitting. It is great. I wish I had it when my children were younger. Life can be challenging (to say the least) with kids but Beth B. gives you a guide to get out of the tumultuous times and into freedom. It is a quick easy fun read and super practical. I am going to give this as a gift to every new parent I know. I can't think of a better new baby gift. There is no longer any reason to feel as if you can't do what you need to do because now you can.

After reading this, I realize at work I have a process for making decisions, planning, and executing that plan. I have a whole set of skills that enables me to deal with everything that comes up. I don't have any such process at home. Beth Blecherman is the first one to take this professional skill set and apply it to parenting. Her book is straight-forward and concise. Your house will run with harmonious efficiency, and you will feel in control of the chaos! I wish I had this book years ago!
