Canadian tenor Ben Heppner is one of the great new heroic voices of our time, with splendid recordings of Wagner and Richard Strauss to his credit. In this endearing disc, he puts aside monumental music for charming 1920s showtunes by composers like Ivor Novello and No?l Coward.
