Five Stars for 'My Stick Family'

¿My Stick Family¿ provides tremendous inspiration, compassion, and courage for children who are the (real) victims of a divorce. Eloquently laying out the web of complex emotions a child feels during such traumatic times, Natalie Riley avoids the technical rationalization that dominates such books for adults. As a child who was raised by a single parent, I found ¿My Stick Family¿ to be heart-warming and poignant. If you are a parent going through a divorce, and there are children involved, this book is a must read to help your little one(s) understand the true meaning of love.

    user friendly

What really makes this book unique is that a small child can easily understand the message of this fantastic story and can even relate to it. It was written for children to help them cope with divorce, not just parents and adults. No complex advice, just a true easy to read story of one families divorce and how the family choose to stick together during this tough time.Something you can relate to.

    Children

A book like this is long overdue. We need to take care of the children and help them cope with a subject that does not go away. Think what the world would be like if children felt secure and happy even after their parents divorce.
