About the Author

Sherna Spearman-Lott is a veteran elementary teacher in her hometown of Jesup, GA. She feels blessed to work as a reading intervention teacher while simultaneously sharing the gift of reading with her students. She is also a mother to two adult children - a daughter, Anyzia, and a son, Elijah. My Teacher Sees Me is her first written work, but she already has the follow-up story ready for illustration.
