Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
A first trip to our nation's capital can be an experience that a child will remember for the rest of his or her life -- or it can be a blur of staircases, statues, and historical statistics. This illustrated children's book guides young citizens through Washington, D.C., in inspiring (and fun) ways. A treat for tourists.

Great gift for my 11-year old visitor

I bought this book to give to my 11-year-old great neice who came to Washington for a week-long visit. She loved it. Carried it with her everywhere as she collected tickets, maps, and brochures of all the places we toured to put in the pockets. And she wrote in it every evening. She went home with a great souvenir of her trip to Washington.
