My Unexpected Forever is one of those books that you must have uninterrupted reading time from start until finish. You won't realize the world going on around you until someone tries to get your attention and talk to you. Then you will look at them with daggers in your eyes (ok, not really, but yes, really) because, how dare they break your trance of reading. And all you can say is PIVOTAL MOMENT, and they know not to interrupt you again.

First off I LOVE Harrison James!!!!! From the beginning I fell in love with him with how he loves Katelyn as well as his interactions with her daughters. But the way he loves his son. Gah! It is so beautiful. Now for Katelyn I wanted to kick her white ass for being so stubborn and a complete idiot. Thank goodness Harrison's love was strong enough that I could get my HEA. Harrison so makes this book as well as Peyton, Elle and Quinn. Such a sweet series so far. I love them.

Excellent Book.  I Forever My Girl was a great book but I loved this one more than the first.  Liam in the first book sounded fantastic but Harrison shows more depth of character.  I don't believe in spoilers but the relationship that builds between Harrison and Katelyn is happy, sad, frustrating, sensual, and  down right devastating at times.  It just made me want to hug Harrison and tell him everything will be ok.  As far as the ink - sexy as hell.  Give this book a try but don't plan on being able to put it down.  Happy Reading!!

If you loved Forever My Girl you will love this book more. My Unexpected Forever is about Katelyn and Harrison, Katelyn is still healing from the loss of her husband and father of her children. Harrison comes into her life and turns it upside down because she does not know how to deal with her feeling so soon. Harrison is a sweetheart, I instantly fell in love! I could not put this book down and read in one day! I smiled throughout this story (my husband thought I was crazy)!

I had to go back to read Forever my girl to remember what happened. Its been yrs since I read it. I have to say I feel in love with Harrison in this book I mean talk about a sweet charming bad boy. You cant help feel bad for Katelyn I mean you lose your high school sweetheart raising twin by yourself just trying to figure out life and how to move on. I love how Harrison is a single dad trying his hardest to do the best for his son who was just dumped on him after he was born. The twist to that is crazy and insane how his son came to be. Then after being alone so long Harrison happens to fall for Katelyn its love at first sight. Something about her hes drawn to. The more he tries to be near her the more she tries to push away Katelyn is not into Tattoo, bad boy with groupie looking for one night stands. Till Harrison starts showing her who is really is shes having a harder time staying away from him.

I read this story as part of anthology "Silk" and have fallin in love. Harrison is one sexy Drummer.. I have a soft spot for drummers ;). I must say I haven't read the other books in the Beaumont Series YET but I will. Kayelyn lost her husband suddenly and is try to but the pieces of her life back together as a single mom with twin girls, Elle & Peyton. Harrison move from LA to Beaumont with his son Quinn to be closer to the band and falls head over heal for Katelyn. He knows she needs room and time to mourn but his patience is wearing thin. Katelyn is torn with her feelings of love for her husband that died and the fire that Harrison causes her to feel. She is hot and cold towards him - finally giving into her attraction. Needless to say there are bumps in the road to love and they have there share. They do get there HEA .. This book made me laugh, cry and root for Harrison like you would not believe.. That man has the moves.. the romantic words that make you melt. . he is the complete Package..

I loved seeing Liam and Josie from Forever My Girl again. I appreciate a book/series that lets you get to know multiple characters versus focusing on a couple with some side characters. I felt emotions from every character. The good, the bad and the ugly. I just LOVE Harrison. He feels an instant connection with Katelyn and will do anything to get her to love him, but this isn't an ordinary love triangle when you are competing with a ghost. He had his work cut out for him. These tattooed bad boys always work their way in to my heart, but Harrison did it effortlessly. He made me want to reach through the pages, wipes his tears and give him a big hug. Great love story.

My Unexpected Forever is a beautiful and emotional story of healing, second chances, moving on, learning to love, and family. Heidi McLaughlin makes you feel every emotion that the characters are going through. Will be definitely reading the rest of the books in this series.
