Overview

Not long ago, Time Life created a groundbreaking book series that launched the paranormal into the mainstream. Every phenomenon — from the most commonplace to the most obscure — was meticulously researched and documented. Over eight million books were sold in the span of a few short years. Here, in this single volume, the editors of Time Life have collected their readers' favorites, including some of the weirdest, eeriest, and most compelling tales. What evidence lingers in the wake of phantoms wandering the Tower of London? What forces lie behind the meaning of the tarot reading? On what power do fire-walkers rely? What really happens during the transformation of a werewolf? Could dreams be windows into alternative world or parallel universes? You will find stories about a little bit of everything here: UFOs and ghosts, healers and vampires, out-of-body experiences and voyages back from the dead. Reading this book will give a completely new dimension to the meaning of "close encounters."

    Awesome Book!!!

This is one of the most interesting books that I have ever read. It is also one of the best books to read on rainy days. It acknowledges mysteries inquired about everyday in the world, with fascinating personal accounts, hair-raising details and even photographs! You won't be able to put it down!
