The Mysterious Marquis is a great read.

She had never liked him, but she needed his help solving a mystery. She could not have guessed she would find her true love.

Adventurous Marianne Bentley is quite concerned about her friend Charlotte. Much to her chagrin, the only person that she might get to talk is Lord Alton, a man she has never trusted. Marianne seeks out his company, and then finds him seeking hers out. Was she wrong about this man, or were her first instincts right.

This book reminded me of Jane Austen's work. The plot is delightful. The characters are entertaining. The Mysterious Marquis is a great read.
