Abbsters Opinion

The thing I loved about this book is that I was on the edge of my chair until the very end!!!!!!!! The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because there was a few errors and I hate that so much. LAZY EDITORS!!!!!!!!!!!

    The Mystery of Lilac Inn

In the story The Myster of Lilac Inn Nancy¿s friend Emily invites Nancy and Helen to help solve the mystery of Emily¿s missing diamonds. Strange things have been happening at Lilac Inn.

First there is someone who broke into the Drew home and messed up Nancy¿s room. And now is impersonating Nancy. Then a man with a crew cut pushed Nancy and Helen¿s canoe over. Also, the finest lilac tree was stolen. One night Helen woke up and went outside and saw Nancy¿s impersonator. Then Nancy woke up because she heard her alarm clock. Also Nancy noticed that Helen was not in her bed. She went outside to look for Helen. She saw her behind some bushes. When they went back to the cabin it was on fire. Then Nancy remembered the ticking sound it was not her alarm clock it was a time bomb. At the end of the story Nancy finds out it was Gay Moreau who pretended she was Mary Mason and Jean Holmes. I like this book because I like Mysteries.

    Best Nancy Drew Book!

I know. Most people think I'm too old to be reading Nancy Drew books. At 17 years old, I am still a huge fan and read them all the time! *don't look at me that way :-)* Lilac Inn is definitely one of my favorites. Highly Recommended by the biggest NANCY DREW fan in the universe.

    Nancy Drew Fans

An audience that would like this book is an audience that likes suspicion and likes trying to find out who is the criminal. I hate to read and when I got this book I couldn¿t put it down, so I think you would love this book because it has so much suspicion and clues to who it might be, but then it turns out that the person is innocent. This book is about strange happenings at Lilac Inn, and Nancy Drew tried to find out who was causing them. Other books Carolyn Keen has written : The Mystery of The 99 Steps, The Mystery of the Hidden Staircase, The Secret of the Old Clock, The Crocked Mantel, and many more. The setting is at Lilac Inn, and the main characters are Nancy, Helen, Emily, John, and Maud Porter. The writer tries to get across that if you try your best and never give up you will eventually succeed. The weak points are the way she wrote the sentences, sometimes they didn¿t make sense. The strong points are the way she described the characters. I encourage my classmates to read this book because it is very interesting, and if you try you can find out a lot of clues.
