    This Book Rocked My Socks!

While in the library at school, I was looking for a book that was "piraty" or "nautical", but was having trouble finding something interesting. But while strolling down the isles, this book caught my eye. I was a little sceptical at first, but after reading a few chapters, I was hooked! I honestly couldn't put it down. It took my imagination on a truly unforgettable journey!

    A reviewer

The book Mystery Isle by Judith St. George is a great book for young teenagers to read. This is a great mystery book, although it does seem not to have very much action. Kim and her mom live in New York City when they get a surprising call to go visit their Great Grandfather who lives on Shag Island. Besides owning an island and having a huge mansion called the anchorage, they¿re going to try to sell it. That night Kim and her mother arrived, they thought they heard some very strange music, but didn¿t know what it was or where it was coming from. A few days later, Kim¿s mom gets called on business, and Sophie, who is like a maid, has to go see her sister Ester who was in an accident. So it¿s just Kim and Grandpa on the island, alone. That night, was very frightening. It was dark, and this strange light kept beaming, and the strange music played even louder, and they saw a parrot. They don¿t know how the bird got into the house, or what the light is, or where the music is coming from, but they want to know who, or what is haunting Shag Island. Now Grandpa thought he was losing his mind, like his father before him, but Kim knows what she saw, and they had to figure it out. I would really recommend this book, it may start out slow, but it¿s a great mystery! I would give this book an 8 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best)
