    Great idea for parties!

I went to several Mystery Meal parties when I was a teen and they were always really fun. If you don't know what it is, let me explain a little about it. The guests first take their seats and are given a menu to choose their meal from, which has the code names on it. That way they don't know any of the things that they will end up with. So, they might have to use a knife as their only utensil or get served dessert first. It makes for a lot of laughs as each course is brought out with surprises for everyone.

There are nine fun themes in Mystery Meals that you can choose from, like Wild West, Classic Rock or a Mexican Fiesta. As soon as I received the book, my kids started planning our party, which will be a Tropical Luau with Imitation Pearls (macadamia nuts), Monkey Money (banana bread), Opposites Attract (Sweet and Sour Chicken) and more entertaining ideas. I like how Mystery Meals does all the work for me in coming up with the names and with having the well-designed, full color menus ready to copy for the guests. If you haven't gone to one of these Mystery Meals parties, you might want to try it, they are really fun!
