Overview

Nancy Drew must search for a flight of 99 steps to solve the mystery of a friend’s weird dream. Her search leads her to France, but before she leaves the United States, an unknown person calling himself Monsieur Neuf warns the young sleuth not to pursue her mission.

With her friends Bess and George, Nancy arrives in Paris to join her father who is working on another case: to find out what, or who, is frightening wealth financier Monsieur Leblanc into selling large amounts of securities. Startling discoveries convince the young detective that Mr. Drew’s case and her own mystery are linked by the 99 steps, and that a mysterious man has a strong hold over Leblanc. Is it blackmail? Nancy’s quest for further clues leads to the romantic chateau country in the Loire Valley, where a web of danger closes in tightly around the three girls.

This is one of the best Nancy Drew books I have ever read. I think it's really odd when Mrs. Blair has a terrible dream that she is blindfolded and about to fall down the stairs and somone is whispering in her her 99 step! the odd part about it is that same thing happend to her in France when she was a little girl! I'm not going to tell you anymore because that would be giving alway the whole story. I hope that those little sentances I wrote make you want to read this book. The best book I highly recomend this book the mystery of the 99 steps.

When miss drew was asked to solve a mystery of the 99 steps she felt so excited that she nearly forgot othat danger lies everywhere she goes and she is always very happy when she is asked to solve a mystery although she always get in trouble but it seems to be in her bblood to solve mysteries that is why she always gets so happy whenever she is asked to solve a mystery even though it is very dangerous. I like the way the author shows the i think this is not the way it is supposed to be but no matter what happens the young sleuth has solved so many mysteriees that she ended up being an amateur detective and her ability to figure out different puzzles haas brought happiness to several kind of people even her enemies hias lost whenever they wanted to fight miss drew. Nancy Drew, indeginous and alert is the daughter of a famous criominal lawyer and has as well helped his daughter in his sytudies and they both has achivved their goal i think.

I enjoyed this book very much. I love the Nancy Drew books. In this book, Nancy travels to France in search of the ninety-nine steps, and finds many stairways with ninety-nine steps, so its very complicated.
